What is Pilates/Fitness Yoga Fusion?

A fitness programme that incorporates stretch, strength, Yoga postures and Pilates exercises.

Every element of the class is validated from a fitness perspective and anyone taking part can expect to improve their strength and flexibility, seeing the benefits within 8 weeks.

How does Fitness Yoga differ from traditional Yoga?

Fitness Yoga is not a spiritual experience. It mimics Yoga in its breathing and style offering postures that endorse strength and stability. There is no dogma, chanting or philosophy attached to this workout. There is no Sanskrit terms as postures are prescribed from the body’s natural anatomical perspective. We do not use Yoga names and references. Extreme postures that exceed optimal ranges of motion generally are avoided.

Who is the class appropriate for?

Pilates/Fitness Yoga Fusion is appropriate for most apparently healthy adults. It is not designed for pregnant woman or people with diagnosed back problems.

What do I wear to a class and need to bring with me?

Wear comfortable trousers that will give, jogging bottoms or leggings are ideal or flared style yoga trousers. Wear layers on top. We perform the postures in bare feet so no specific footwear is required. What is the cost?
